How to Store Firewood Properly

Once you’ve got good firewood, you need to keep it that way. Store your firewood off the ground, covered on top, and open on the sides for airflow.

Keep it out of the rain and away from your house to avoid pests. A well-stacked rack on gravel or pavers works best. Never shrink-wrap or tarp the whole stack — that traps moisture and leads to rot.

Bonus: If you order from us, the reusable totes make storage simple. Just keep them in a dry spot and reuse or return them when empty.
